Glory halleluja - it is finally the weekend. And a three day weekend at that. I am so blissfully excited.
Mr. Aspiring and I have tickets to go see X-men Three tonight (or as I refer to it "Geek-men Three). My husband is pretty excited about it and I am just excited to be able to spend time with him in any capacity outside of cleaning up the apartment (which is ususally what we are doing when we see each other).
This weekend I also want to get a haircut and possibly go shopping. I would like to get a new outfit or two now that I am working full time. I don't like most of my business casual stuff and I have next to no really business clothes. I don't want to invest a ton of money because, well, I don't plan on being a jet-setting business woman. But I also know that in even in academia where dress standards are a little looser (especially for graduate students) there is a need for formal clothing. And I do have some - but not enough and nothing that I feel like a show-stopper in.
I am also planning on sleeping in. I feel a little less exhausted. The last two nights I have actually been able to sleep through the night but I still am looking forward to not having to set an alarm for three whole days. Yowza!!!
And I think that since Mr. Aspiring and I have already splirged on movie tickets tonight - we should continue that trend and go out to dinner. That means both no cooking and, more importantly, no cleaning up afterwards.
I hope that you all have wonderful weekends. Enjoy the time off.
